Meet Our TeamDr. Mariah Pilling, B.Sc., N.D.

Dr. Mariah Pilling is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from BYU Hawaii where she received a Bachelor of Science with a focus in Exercise Science. After a brief time studying nursing, she decided to pursue a career path that focused more on comprehensive health. Naturopathic medicine aligned with her beliefs that health is a complex combination of physical, emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual factors. She loves focusing on treating the root cause of illness.
She attended 4 years of graduate school at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Vancouver and gained her license as a Naturopathic Doctor. Since then, she has taken many courses to increase her knowledge in IV therapy, Injection Therapies (prolo, ozone, trigger points, etc.), Chelation (Heavy Metals), and Ozone Therapy. She loves treating pain and women’s health conditions.
When not at work, Mariah loves spending time with her husband and two little girls. She tries to spend as much time as possible in the great outdoors, enjoying all nature has to offer.
Dr. Joshua Van Spronsen, Acu.
Dr. Joshua Van Spronsen is a graduate from PCU College of Holistic Medicine, where he received his diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He focuses on treating pain management, women’s health, and headaches.
Prior to pursuing a career in acupuncture, Joshua worked as an EMT for several years, providing emergency medical care to patients in critical situations. His experience as an EMT gave him a deep understanding of the human body and a passion for helping people heal. With this background, Joshua brings a unique perspective to his practice of acupuncture. He has a keen ability to quickly assess his patient's needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific health concerns.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Joshua has a warm and compassionate demeanor that puts his patients at ease. He is committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment for people, where they can relax and focus on their healing.
When he is not in the clinic, Joshua enjoys hiking, rock climbing, hunting, and fishing.

Kelsie McGee, MScPT, RegPT
(she/her/hers)

Born and raised in Newfoundland and Labrador, Kelsie completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at Memorial University of Newfoundland before advancing to the Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy program at Dalhousie University. Kelsie has completed extensive post-graduate training in pelvic health rehabilitation and enjoys working as a lab instructor for Pelvic Health Solutions. She prides herself on being a gender-affirming, trauma-informed Physiotherapist with a passion for helping people with pelvic floor issues such as bladder/bowel control, sexual dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, and/or persistent pelvic pain.
She provides care for anyone dealing with pre-post abdominal or pelvic surgeries. She has additional training in pre/post natal care and breast/chest feeding. In her spare time, Kelsie enjoys staying active with her family through swimming and hiking.
Ashley Lowe, MScPT, B.Sc.
Pelvic and Orthopaedic Physiotherapist
Born and raised in Lethbridge, AB, Ashley completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the University of Lethbridge before advancing to the Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy program at the University of Alberta.

About Ashley
Ashley is passionate about keeping people healthy and happy by allowing them to continue in their chosen physical, occupational and lifestyle activities effectively and painlessly.
Ashley comes from a background of strength and conditioning, and utilizes this background combined with her physical therapy education to provide patients who enjoy an active lifestyle with evidence-based movement and education-focused treatments.
She also uses this combination of specializations to facilitate safe and enjoyable engagement and return to sport/activity during pregnancy, postpartum and post-op pelvic procedures.
Ashley is a huge proponent of preventative medicine and strives to provide a space where patients’ physical health and fitness can be assessed and treated not just in a reactive manner, but preventatively as well.
Ashley strongly believes there is no "one size fits all" approach to healthcare, and her treatments are always individualized for each patient and their unique circumstances.

Shane Pilling, MScPT, RegPT

Born and raised in Lethbridge, Shane brings a strong background in both competitive athletics and evidence-based rehabilitation to his physiotherapy practice. His athletic career included two seasons in the WHL (Western Hockey League) with the Prince George Cougars and two seasons in the AJHL with the Brooks Bandits, where he was part of a National Championship-winning team.
After completing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Lethbridge, Shane earned his Master of Science in Physiotherapy with distinction from Brunel University in London, UK. He has pursued additional training in concussion management and Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) Functional Dry Needling.
Shane is passionate about helping individuals of all activity levels—whether recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or striving to return to sport. He takes a patient-centered approach focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and supporting long-term wellness.
Dessanna Holthe
Dessanna is a Spinal Flow Practitioner who recently returned to Southern Alberta after completing her training in Australia. With a deep passion for helping others reconnect with their bodies, she uses Spinal Flow techniques to support clients in releasing stress, easing pain, and creating more balance in their nervous systems.
Known for her warm and welcoming presence, Dessanna creates a safe space where clients feel seen, supported, and at ease. She is passionate about helping others feel more aligned—physically, emotionally, and energetically—and loves guiding people on their journey to feeling more grounded, relaxed, and connected with themselves.
